Car-crushed aluminium drinks cans, collected from the roadside having been discarded and from and run over by vehicles. Three-dimensional objects rendered two-dimensional through two separate processes, the printed surface of the cans scratched, scuffed and rendered unreadable. This ‘new’ surface, when photographed at high resolution and printed at large scale, provides an opportunity to inspect the detail and perhaps consider the impact of consumer society on the health of both itself, and the environment.
