Wasted Landscape

To quote this verse from William Blake’s Jerusalem

“And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England’s mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England’s pleasant pastures seen?

For anyone that enjoys the natural world, it is all too evident that there are others that have little respect for it, often it seems that waste is seemingly presented as a symbolic gesture. The detritus of the Anthropocene, a blight on beauty spots and beaches. I may hope by through building a body of photographic evidence, that I might offer a different perspective to this wasted landscape. Brightly coloured and often jewel-like, almost blending into the surroundings as if an exotic, strawberry flavoured plastic, displaying messages of health and nutrition. Nature itself seems to accept it, as do we I suspect.
